Life Sentence for Suburban Hospital Slaying

Keith Little convicted of killing his boss

A former worker at Suburban Hospital in Montgomery County has been sentenced to life without the chance of parole in the stabbing death of his supervisor.

Fifty-year-old Keith Little was sentenced Monday in Montgomery County Circuit Court. Little was convicted in December in the killing of 40-year-old Roosevelt Brockington Jr. on New Year's Day 2011. Brockington, an engineer responsible for heating and cooling in the building, was found in a basement office with more than 70 stab wounds.

Prosecutors said that Little was angry at Brockington over a scheduling change and a poor performance review.

During Monday's hearing, Little continued to profess his innocence. He said he had been railroaded by authorities and would appeal.
