A large fire at a recycling facility in Clarksburg, Maryland, shut down a busy roadway ahead of the morning rush.
Firefighters were called to a recycling facility at 24120 Frederick Road at 3 a.m. Wednesday.
A fire official says a limited water supply affected efforts to suppress the fire.
Route 355 was closed in both directions for several hours, but the road has since reopened.
No further information has been released.
