Hundreds Attend National Zoo's Easter Monday Tradition

WASHINGTON -- While those lucky enough to have scored Easter Egg Roll tickets online played with the Obamas at the White House, hundreds of people went to the National Zoo for another Easter Monday.

The zoo held its annual African-American family celebration.

Participants hunted for Easter eggs, played games, made arts and crafts, watched dance and musical performances, listened to storytelling, and more.

Like the Easter Egg Roll, the National Zoo's celebration was free.
