Huguely is accused of murdering his former girlfriend, Yeardley Love.

He faces charges of first-degree murder, robbery, and breaking and entering.

Love was found dead in her Charlottesville apartment in May 2010.

Initial reports showed Love died of blunt-force trauma to the head, but Huguely’s defense team says it’s possible she died from cardiac arrhythmia caused by a combination of Adderall and alcohol.

The trial will not be broadcast on TV, as Judge Edward L. Hogshire ruled it’s not in the public interest.

The first two days are expected to be devoted to jury selection and the trial is expected to last around two weeks.
