Honda Accord Tires Stolen Twice Within One Week

All four tires were stolen from the same car twice within a week, and the car was left on a set of bricks.

On Nov. 28 and again on Dec. 5, a person stole four tires from the same 2017 Honda Accord in Prince George's County.

At 3:32 a.m. on Nov. 28, surveillance footage showed an individual getting out of a car and removing the tires from the Honda, leaving it on bricks.

After the first incident, Anthony Greer, of Adelphi, Maryland, installed a Viper alarm system with a tilt sensor on his wife's car, but this did little to prevent the theft from happening again.

At about 5 a.m. on Dec. 5, Greer’s set of new tires were stolen. According to Greer, the car was left on the same type of bricks.

The person was last seen driving down Metzerott Road toward New Hampshire Avenue about 2 miles from University of Maryland’s Capital One Field in College Park.
