The two people found dead in a wooded area in Northern Virginia over the weekend have been identified as Woodbridge residents who were known to visit businesses in the area, police said.
The deaths of Jairo Mayorga, 39, and Milton Lopez, 40, are being investigated as homicides, Prince William County police said.
Officers said a citizen passing by discovered their bodies in a wooded area on Saturday morning. Police responded to the 1500 block of Featherstone Drive in Woodbridge, near a market and an elementary school.
Police said there are no public safety concerns and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Prince William County Police.
