A truck driver may be facing charges following a head-on collision that killed another driver in Frederick County.
At about 5:30 a.m. the driver of a 2012 Freightliner tractor heading northbound on Route 75 may have illegally crossed lanes before hitting a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction, according to Maryland State Police. The crash just south of Jones Road shut down traffic for about 4 hours.
Michael Frederick Fink, 46, of Frederick, Md., was driving the pickup truck. He died at the scene.
The tractor trailer driver, 54-year-old Curtis Alexander Brown ,of Richmond, was not injured in the crash.
Charges against Brown are pending.
