DC police are on the lookout for someone snatching iPhones right out people's hands.
There were at least four street-level robberies over the weekend in Northwest. They all occurred in various areas of the second district. In each case, the victims were approached while talking or carrying their phones.
Similar crimes have involved phones being stolen off restaurant tables.
Luckily no one's been hurt, but police are warning people to be aware of their surroundings and avoid walking alone at night. They also say never leave your phone lying on a table while dining out -- it's a big attraction to would-be thieves.
