Prince George's officials say 61 weapons were collected Saturday at a gun exchange program in which participants could get a $100 gift card for guns or ammunition surrendered.
The gun exchange ihappened at Abundant Life Ministries on Livingston Road near Indian Head Highway in Forest Heights.
Gun exchanges are meant to get unwanted and illegal guns off the street, giving people an incentive to turn in weapons or ammunition.
