Guilty Plea in Loudoun County Murder-for-Hire Plot

Woman Admits to Hiring Hit Man

A Loudoun County woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to hiring a hit man to kill her boyfriend's alleged mistress.

Court records reveal Ann Jenene Cinnamon, of Sterling, offered a man she met online $500 to carry out the crime. She even paid a $100 down payment.

Authorities said the 41 year-old spent three months last fall plotting out the murder and planning her alibi.

What she didn’t know was that the man who she thought would help her instead called the FBI.

Cinnamon was arrested Oct. 20 after a meeting to discuss the murder.

Cinnamon faces up to 10 years in prison when she's sentenced in May.
