Police: 2 Deaths in Greenbelt Were Murder-Suicide

A 44-year-old woman was killed by a man she knew, police say

    Police believe the man and woman found dead Tuesday evening in a home in Greenbelt, Maryland, died in a murder-suicide. 

    Meena Anil Menon, 44, and a man were found dead about 6 p.m. on the 6000 block of Springhill Drive

    Greenbelt police said in an update Wednesday afternoon that they believe Menon was killed by a 37-year-old man she lived with. 

    That man then killed himself, police said. He will be identified pending notification of his family. 

    Police said Menon's cause of death is unknown, and an autopsy will be conducted.

    Police did not immediately release additional information.
