Graffiti Sprayed on Bank in Maryland

Vandalism at Maryland branch focuses on debt

Montgomery County police are looking for the person who vandalized a Bank of America in Chevy Chase, Md.

The graffiti was discovered Wednesday morning at the branch on South Park Avenue.
Investigators said it was sprayed on the outside of the building sometime overnight.

“Debt is Theft” is written on the front door in red paint. “Debt is Criminal” is sprayed across a brick wall.  There is also profanity.

No suspects are in custody.

A security guard stood outside the branch today.

The bank was open for its normal business hours.
