A 5-year-old girl underwent the amputationof both feet after a lawnmower accident in Harford County on Monday afternoon.
The person on the ride-on lawnmower didn't see the girl and backed over her, said Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association spokesperson Rich Gardiner.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Kensington Farm Court in Forest Hill, Md. The girl was flown to the Children’s Center at John Hopkins in Baltimore.
Gardiner said he believed the operator of the lawnmower is the victim’s father.
