Germantown Subway Restaurant Robbed Twice

Police Search for Suspect

    Montgomery County police are looking for a man who they say robbed the same Subway restaurant in Germantown twice. Police believe the same man is responsible for robbing the restaurant on Wisteria Drive on Jan. 11 and again Tuesday. 

    In both robberies a man approached the counter, displayed a gun and demanded money, police said. Both robberies happened about 9 p.m., and in both cases the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

    Police described the robber as a black man in his late 20s standing 5-feet-9-inches to 6-foot-1 and weighing 150-170 pounds.In both incidents, he was wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, a black jacket and black pants. He was armed with a black handgun.

    Detectives obtained surveillance video from the second robbery incident and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
