Montgomery County Police say they have arrested a Germantown, Md. restaurant owner and charged him with second degree rape.
Juan Alberto Melgar, 52, of the 11400 block of Staten Court in Germantown, is the owner of the Pelican Restaurant located at 12941 Wisteria Drive.
According to police, the female victim told them that she had been at the Pelican Restaurant on the night of Friday August 6th socializing with friends when Melgar followed her into the bathroom and forced her to have sex with him.
Police said Melgar was arrested Thursday without incident.
