You'll save a few cents when you fill up your tank this week. New numbers from AAA show the average price for a gallon of gas in the District dropped two cents Monday, to $3.80.
In Maryland, drivers are paying about $3.62, which is down a fraction of a cent. Same story in Virginia, where your average is $3.51 Monday. And in West Virginia, you're paying a penny less at $3.73.
This is the sixth straight week of falling gas prices... a good sign for anyone planning a Memorial Day Weekend getaway.
