Gas Prices Back on the Rise

The weekly guessing game of "will gas prices go up or down" continues, and this week the answer is up.

According to AAA's Fuel Gauge Report, the national average is at $3.70 a gallon, up two cents from a week ago.

D.C. drivers are feeling the most financial pain in our area, paying $3.91 a gallon this week compared to $3.87 a week ago.

Virginia is currently sitting at $3.62, up from $3.59, while West Virginia went from $3.69 to $3.70 in a week.

Maryland is up two cents from $3.68 to $3.70.

The price jumps correspond with crude oil prices rising, as it's gone from around $92 a barrel to almost $99 a barrel.
