Friday Funeral for Md. Trooper Killed In Crash

Flags across Maryland are flying at half-staff in memory of a state trooper killed in a crash on I-95 early Saturday in Howard County, Md.

Investigators believe Trooper First Class Shaft Hunter, 39, was pursuing a speeding motorcycle when his vehicle hit a tractor trailer that had pulled to the side of the highway.

Hunter died at the scene.  He was the father of six children.
