A former high school football coach and teacher is scheduled to go on trial on a charge of sexual abuse of a minor.
Jury selection is set for Wednesday for the trial of 34-year-old Andre Brown.
He was arrested last year after a 17-year-old female student accused him of sexually abusing her on the grounds of High Point High School in Beltsville.
Prince George's County Police say Brown asked the teen to accompany him to the locker room during homecoming weekend in 2013.
The girl later came forward to police and reported the crime.
Brown was placed on leave by the school system following his arrest. He had been a special education teacher at High Point. He was fired as the football coach following the 2013 season.
