Floyd County Store Sells $2M Powerball Winner

A Floyd County store has sold a Powerball ticket worth $2 million.

The Willis Village Mart sold the ticket from Saturday's drawing. It would be the largest single-ticket payout since Virginia began Powerball sales in 2010. In April a Berryville woman had a pair of tickets that won $1 million each in the same drawing.

Saturday's winning ticket matched the first five numbers and missed the Powerball. The ticketholder spent an extra dollar on Power Play to increase the prize to $2 million.

The ticketholder has 180 days to claim the prize.

The numbers drawn Saturday were 14, 26, 41, 55 and 59. The Powerball was 1.
