Firefighters Rescue 4 From Burning Home in Prince George's County

Cause under investigation

Firefighters rescued four people from a burning home in Bowie, Md., Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the two-story home about 4 a.m., Prince George's County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady said. A man who escaped told firefighters that others in the home weren't able to get out.

Firefighters rescued a woman and three pre-teen girls from the second floor of the home. They were treated for smoke inhalation and taken to area hospitals in good condition.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
