    Silver Hill Firefighters Disciplined for Alleged Hazing

    Eight career firefighters at Prince George's County's busiest fire station are on administrative duty following allegations of hazing.

    The allegations stem from the Silver Hill Fire Department in Suitland, which employs both career and volunteer firefighters.

    The firefighters who have been disciplined and are on administrative duty are all personnel firefighters. Details on their identities or the accusations have not yet been released by the fire department.

    A captain was among those put on administrative duty pending an investigation into the allegations, News4 has learned.

    The Silver Hill Fire Department operates under Prince George's County Fire and EMS.
