A firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling a fire in Montgomery County Thursday morning.
Fire officials say 75 firefighters were called to the 8100 block of Damascus Road just after 7 a.m. Flames and smoke could be seen coming from one side of the home as Chopper 4 hovered over the scene.
Additional water tankers had to be called to the scene because the home is located in a non-hydrant area of the county.
Everyone inside the home got out safely, but one firefighter suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The home suffered more than $500,000 in damages.
