Firefighter Injured in Mt. Rainier House Fire

Crews need 90 minutes to contain blaze

A massive house fire in Prince George’s County has sent one firefighter to the hospital with minor burn injuries.

The fire broke out at around 4 a.m. Sunday in the 4500 block of 32nd Street in Mount Rainier.

Crews say the fire decimated the two-story home, which was vacant.

It took firefighters around 90 minutes to finally contain the blaze.

Officials are still working to figure out how the fire started.
