A fire at a Dupont Circle liquor store spread to the neighboring restaurant before firefighters knocked it down Tuesday afternoon.
D.C. Fire and EMS was called to Dupont Circle Fine Wine and Spirits at 1325 Connecticut Ave. at about 1:30 p.m. An apparent electrical fire in the basement spread to the Fiesta restaurant next door.
Power to both businesses was shut off, and northbound Connecticut Avenue was closed.
No injuries were reported.
