A missing elderly man was located at the Washington Hospital Center Saturday.
Veeraiah Bulliah Chedalavada's family said he had not been seen since Thursday. He apparently was hit by a vehicle, possibly breaking bones. Police are investigating what happened.
Chedalavada is either 98 or 101 -- his family is unsure of his birth year.
Chedalavada had last been seen in the 800 block of University Boulevard, in Silver Spring. There was no evidence of foul play, but his family was concerned.
Chedalavada's family said he was active and in good physical and mental health. He likes walking and frequents places like Westfield Wheaton Shopping Mall, White Oak Shopping Center and Prince George's Plaza.
