Federal prosecutors said a Woodbridge, Va., man has been sentenced to five years in prison for distributing child pornography.
Dennis Craig Bell, 55, who pleaded guilty in August, was sentenced on Thursday.
According to court documents, Bell used a peer-to-peer network to distribute child pornography files.
Prosecutors said he downloaded child porn at home and at work.
He retired from the Capitol Police after his arrest.
