After several delays due to weather conditions, Enterprise ended its journey Friday at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.

The space shuttle took off from Dulles International Airport Friday morning attached to a modified NASA 747.

Enterprise rode piggy-back all the way to the Big Apple.

The shuttle will remain at JFK International Airport for a few weeks before heading to its new home at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum on Manhattan's West Side.
