Surveillance Photos May Help Catch the Criminals

U.S. Park Police want you to take a close look at surveillance photos they hope will land two alleged robbers behind bars.

A man and women, both about 35 years old, worked in tandem near Dupont Circle last month, officers said.

The man hit a victim with a fake handgun in the park at 20th Street and Connecticut Avenue NW about 6 a.m. Feb. 18, police said. The woman then took off with a stolen credit card and bought food, gift cards and cell phones in the area of P Street between 14th and 17th streets.

She was last seen driving what is believed to be a two-door white Mitsubishi Eclipse.
