A flight from Dulles International Airport to St. Louis was diverted Tuesday afternoon after a report of smoke in the cockpit.
United Flight 8023 landed safely in Louisville just after 2 p.m. as a precaution.
Another plane was brought in to take the 37 passengers to St. Louis.
