Prince George’s County police said one man was killed when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a pole Sunday morning.
Police said the driver was traveling on Old Fort Road in Fort Washington, Md., when the accident occurred at 5:35 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed until shortly before 9 a.m. The driver has not been identified.
