Pit Bull Maybe Stolen, Definitely Back Home

Good news: Chloe Moo Moo Poundcake is back home, safe and sound. The pit bull's owner said she literally leapt into his arms when he arrived to pick her up.

The dog had disappeared Sunday from owner Bill Grey's Northwesy home. Grey had said he suspected someone had stolen the pit bull.

The D.C. business owner said he was at home when he called for his dog to go outside at about 4 p.m., but she did not respond. He said it was not like his dog to run away, and he feared someone may have taken her for dog fighting purposes.

Grey had adopted Moo Moo from the D.C. American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. And that's exactly where Moo Moo had ended up at, again. Grey found out Friday morning that she was found close to his home by none other than the ASPCA.

Grey picked her up, discovering that his dog had lost a bit of weight and seems a little dazed, but is otherwise fine.
