ACT Students Meet About Future

Students at ACT were surprised when the school abruptly closed last week

Former ACT students are getting a chance to learn more about their educational future, which is very much up in the air.

There are two informational meetings scheduled for Wednesday at Westwood College's Arlington-Ballston campus.

Students can learn about alternative educational opportunities, and figure out the status of their student loans.

There is some controversy surrounding these meetings, as students claim school officials changed the location of the meetings last minute.

Originally, one of Wednesday's meetings was scheduled to take place in Manassas, with students having the opportunity to speak with CEO and President of ACT College, Jeff Moore.

But students say the meetings were changed to Arlington purposely to lower attendance.

Last week, the school abruptly closed its doors amidst claims of faking student records and failing to hand out financial aid.
