Delays on D.C.-New York Amtrak Line

Problems with overhead wires north of Baltimore

Amtrak says service between Baltimore and Wilmington has been suspended temporarily and delays are expected on its northeast corridor between New York and Washington, D.C.

Crews are trying to repair problems with overhead wires north of Baltimore on Sunday afternoon, but there is no estimate for restoration of service.

Amtrak expects significant delays for travelers leaving New York and Washington, but says service between Boston and New York is not affected at this time.

Amtrak says passengers who have paid but choose not to travel due to this disruption can receive a refund or a voucher for future travel.
