D.C. police are investigating the death of a female in southeast Washington.
She was found unconscious in the 800 block of Southern Avenue SE. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police have not released the woman's name and have only described her as being an adult.
There's no word on whether there was any apparent trauma to the body.
