1 Dead in Fairfax County Stabbing

One person killed, two others injured in attack inside apartment

A woman is dead and two other people were injured after they were stabbed Monday morning in a Fairfax County apartment.

Police said the victims were stabbed at about 5:30 a.m. in the 13800 block of Braddock Spring Road in Centreville, Va.

Investigators say the stabbing stems from some sort of a domestic situation. Neighbors called 911 after hearing someone banging on doors and yelling for help.

Police found a 49-year-old woman dead in a third-floor apartment.  Her 52-year-old sister and a 53-year-old man also were wounded. They were transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police believe the only people involved are the three people who had stab wounds. They charged 53-year-old Man Ha Park with murder.

Police have preliminarily characterized the homicide as domestic in nature.

Detectives are continuing to investigate. This is the fifth homicide in Fairfax County in 2011.
