A man who went missing in the Triadelphia Reservoir on Friday has been found dead.
Police said that 21-year-old Bruce Yansen died while swimming with two others in Brookville, Md. Police said that he was in a section of the reservoir where the bottom dropped out suddenly. Yansen panicked and went under, according to authorities, and his friends were unable to rescue him.
A large search involving boats, divers, and helicopters had been on for Yansen through the weekend.
Swimming is prohibited in the reservoir. The death remains under investigation.
