D.C. Police Investigate Two Homicides Within Hours

D.C. police are investigating two homicides within hours of each other in Northeast and Southeast Washington.

Police responded to a reported shooting in the 4500 block of Quarles Street NE at 9:30 a.m. Friday. They found the body of a man who had died from gunshot wounds.

Police are investigating suspects and motives.

In Southeast D.C., police responded to the 1300 block of Stevens Road SE just before 3 p.m. 

A gunshot victim was found at the scene, and later pronounced dead.

Neither of the victims has been identified, and no suspect or motive information has been released.
