D.C. police are investigating a shooting that left one man in critical condition.
It happened around midnight on Monday near the intersection of 15th Street and W Street Northeast.
Investigators say a man in his 40's was shot in the head.
They initially didn't think he was going to survive, but right now he is in the hospital recovering.
Police have not released any information on a possible suspect or motive.
