A captain for the D.C. Fire and EMS Department has been arrested on charges related to possession of drugs and firearms, police say.
Capt. Brian Grace was arrested in Fairfax County, Virginia Wednesday night, police said.
He was charged with three drugs charges, including possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or distribute, and two weapons charges.
The D.C. Fire and EMS department said it is aware of Grace's arrest, and he has been placed on administrative leave.
Grace has been with the department since 2000.
