A D.C. council member is demanding an investigation into a car accident that sent four pedestrians to the hospital Wednesday.
The women were hit by an SUV while standing in an alley in the 2900 block of 14th street.
Ward 1 Council member Jim Graham said the alley is notoriously dangerous. He's calling on transportation officials to find a way to alleviate car and pedestrian traffic.
Just a few months ago a man was hit and killed by a garbage truck in the same location.
