Burger Eating Contest Almost Turns Into Food Fight

A burger-eating contest almost got ugly in Tenleytown on Friday.

During Z-Burger's third annual eating competition, Pete Czerwinski accused Dale Boone of leaving food on the table, and therefore not winning the contest.

You can see in the video, Boone got defensive, and it almost got real ugly.  But in the end, "Furious" Peter Czerwinski won the contest, after stuffing 17 burgers in total.  He's won the contest for three years running now, setting a record last time by keeping down 23 burgers.

Czerwinski collected $1,750 in cash and 750 Z-burger tokens as prizes.

No word on whether he plans on trading those in for more burgers.
