Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is scheduled to be the featured speaker at a Tea Party rally in Culpepper, Va., on April 15.
According to the Star Exponent, the rally is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Yowell Meadow Park, and it is sponsored by the Greater Piedmont Tea Party, the Constitutional Tea Party, and the American Family Association. It will also feature patriotic music by local artists.
According to the Richmond Times Dispatch, April 15 is also the day the U.S. Supreme Court will review Cuccinelli’s lawsuit against the federal government over health care reform. The suit claims that requiring every American to purchase health insurance by 2014 or face a penalty is unconstitutional.
The case is also scheduled to be heard in the Fourth U.S. District Circuit Court of Appeals, but that is scheduled to take place after it is heard by the U.S. Supreme Court.
