Craigslist Enthusiasts Beware: Robbers Use Site to Attract Victims

Police report robbers posted stolen items on Craigslist

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-- Annapolis and Anne Arundel County police have arrested another man wanted in a robbery conspiracy that used the craigslist Web site as a front to attract buyers.

Antonio Queen, 18, was arrested Wednesday in a car near Pasadena. He is charged with armed robbery and assault.

Charles Carroll, 17, robbed three people at gunpoint on Dec. 23 and Dec. 26, police said. Queen is involved in the robberies, police said, but they haven't said how.

The victims were in Annapolis to meet with someone advertising gift cards and cell phones for sale on Craigslist, police said, but Carroll pulled a gun to rob the victims of cash, their cell phone and other items -- some of which he then posted for sale on Craigslist.
