Construction Workers Injured in 20-Foot Fall

Two construction workers fell approximately 20 feet from a building in Maryland Tuesday morning.

The men's injuries are potentially serious but not life-threatening, said Mark Brady of the Prince George's County Fire Department.

The men fell two stories while working on a four-story building that's going up near the intersection of Muirkirk Road and Old Baltimore Pike.

County firefighters and paramedics from the Beltsville/Laurel area responded to the site around 11:30 a.m. The construction workers were transported to a trauma center.

A third male worker was hit by falling debris. He did not go to the hospital.

The cause of the fall is still unknown.
