Monday's rain left one Prince George's County construction worker in a very sticky situation.
The heavy rain turned a College Park worksite into a mud pit. When John Buonassisi and a co-worker began walking around, they both started to sink. Soon, Buonassisi found himseld thigh-deep in mud and stuck.
Firefighters helped dig out an embarrassed Buonassisi. He was breathless from the exertion, but was fine otherwise.
"This is the dumbest thing I've ever done in my life," Buonassisi said he was thinking during the ordeal.
Caked in mud, he headed home early.
