Congressmen, Capitol Police Square Off on Football Field

Members of Congress and former NFL players will be teaming up against the U.S. Capitol Police for the biennial Congressional Football Game.

The groups will square off Oct. 28 at Watkins Recreation Field in D.C.

Rep. Bob Dold, a Republican from Illinois, will be the congressional team's quarterback. A total of 23 current members of Congress are on the roster. Former NFL players who are serving as coaches and players include Ken Harvey, John Booty, Gary Clark, Herschel Walker and Shawn Springs.

General admission tickets cost $10 and can be purchased in advance online here. Proceeds from tickets will go to local charities including the Capitol Police Memorial Fund and Our Military Kids.
