College Student Sexually Assaulted in Northwest

Victim was threatened with a knife as he walked home from an off-campus bar

A male student at George Washington University was attacked early Friday morning off campus.

He was approached by a man in the area of Sixth Street and Constitution Avenue in Northwest as he walked home from a bar in the 1200 block of 18th Street about 3 a.m.

The student told police the man threatened him with a knife. He said he was robbed then sexually assaulted.

No arrests have been made.

The attackeris described as a skinny black man in his 20s, standing about 5-foot-8. He had a soft voice, wore his hair in dreadlocks and was wearing red shorts.

Police have notified students and staff at the George Washington University of the attack.
