Sorry, kite fans: the annual Cherry Blossom Kite Festival is postponed again today due to the rainy and windy weather.
Organizers had said the annual Cherry Blossom Kite Festival will happen rain or shine today -- and, the organizers told News4, they really wanted to have the popular festival today.
But -- besides the nasty weather -- there are puddles on the National Mall, and they worried that the turf would be damaged if the festival went on.
The festival was postponed yesterday as well. No new date has been announced.
