The District Department of Transportation is closing the Chain Bridge this weekend for repair work.
Crews will be replacing bridge supports.
The bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. Monday morning.
DDOT said it would try to finish the work and reopen the bridge before Sunday’s Marine Corps Marathon.
